Adobe Bridge Metadata Extracting Scripts

Post by spaceman »

I am a Museum volunteer working on scanning pictures for the museum’s Database. We have found that using Adobe Bridge is a massive time saver, for adding lots of Metadata into the photos. However we would like to take that data and import it into our database, but it seems we need a metadata extraction script. Some of the scripts I have found on your forums, sort of worked. But they were either too simple or too extensive for our needs. What we need is something in between that.

The Database program we use is File Make Pro 11 Ver. 3.0

Here are the fields in the Database, the dashes are drop boxes. If there is a way to add those drop boxes / and or fields to bridge that would be wonderful.

If you could give links, or guidance on how to make the script that would be helpful. Or maybe there is one in existence you could point me to that would help as well.

Thanks
