Hey all.
I've been going through these forums quite a bit in the past week, and they were very helful.
One thing I haven't been able to find online at all (nor in Adobe's reference books) is how and where the Wacom/Photoshop interaction happens.
I want to tap into that interaction engine and simply add a app.activeDocument.artLayers.add(); every time a 'pen-off' event occurs.
Anyone has any experience with that?
Thanks

If it is possible at all to handle a 'pen off' event I would think it would have to be done at the OS level.
I know there is no Photoshop/javascript tablet awareness. And at least with my tablet in the tablet control panel there isn't a 'pen off' event for the tip, only click. I would think you would need a 'pen down' and pen up' event similar to mouse down mouse up events in ScriptUI.

Well even without an event like that, it can be possible to get similar behavior by getting the different pen parameters (i.e when pressure, tiltX/tilyY all become zero, create new layer).
I have actually managed to do something similar with MyPaint (an opensource painter program).
So question remains - if there is anyway to actually get that data onto a script.
