Hello,
I do alot of batch scanning of negatives and slides. I am trying to find a person (or a script) that could help me save steps in the process. Currently, the process is as follows:
1. We scan slides about 50 at a time using the TWAIN driver in Photoshop. The files open in PS as they are scanned but our action is saving and closing them in reverse order. How do I build a script that does this:
1. Automatically rotates all images scanned
2. Crops the images to a certain pixel amount that should be adjusted
3. Appends a custom prefix to all file names that is specified by the user
4. Saves it either as a JPEG or a TIFF file - again the operator should be able to choose
5. Saves and closes the files in the order that they were scanned. Currently, Photoshop saves and closes the last item scanned and goes backwards, how do I change that?
If someone could point me in the right direction, I am more than willing to find a pay a consultant to guide me through these steps. They don't seem overly complicated so I hope that someone can help me.
Thanks,
Stephan
