John Nack is leaving Adobe to go to Google. John was one of the good guys in Adobe as far as PS scripting is concerned. He was one of our advocates in Adobe and his support will be missed. He was also one of my go-to contacts whenever I ran into serious problems. I wish him the best of luck.

Few days after JNack, I've read that Brian Rinaldi too has left Adobe. As far as I know he's been the one in charge of the Adobe Developer Connection website, which is now a relic. According to what Brian said:
Back in February, Adobe made some changes internally, choosing to place most of the company's focus on the Creative Cloud. This emphasis meant the end of some efforts, which included the Adobe Developer Connection.
It looks like interest in third party development has never been so low.
