Getting "Corner-Pin" coordinates

If I have a Smart Object, I can Corner-pin it using the Transform>Distort tool. Is there a way to get those 4 x/y coordinates from the Smart Object?

Many thanks!

It seems we could write a routine that opens the Smart Object, fills it with some trackable, colorized pixels on the corners (maybe in a grid pattern) and then examines the saved smart object in the main PSD. It should be able to deduce most transforms. I'll let you know if I have any success.
