Resize images and expand canvas

It actually does have another effect on the quality of the picture. Try it yourself in photoshop! Resizing an gif image to for example 150x150 will have a different look than the ones after changing to RGB color.

Yes, I think there is a misunderstanding here. Converting an index mode gif to RGB mode would not change the quality of the image. But it could result in a better looking image after the resize step because Photoshop would not be limited to the colors in the index palette. As long as the mode conversion is done before the resize.
