Selection tool issue

Post by AudunNilsen »

Hi

I´m having a bit of difficulty with the selection tool.

In short, the magic wand and the quick selection tool both do the same thing - they select the entire image, and not just the white circle that I want.

The lasso-tool, works, sort of, but I can´t be using a tool like that for 1.000s of operations.

Any ideas ?

The Magic Wand Tool and Quick Selection Tool often work well for isolating specific areas based on color, but they can struggle when the selection isn't as distinct, or if the image has a lot of noise or subtle transitions. You can adjust the Tolerance Setting. The Magic Wand Tool works by selecting pixels based on color similarity. The Tolerance setting controls how sensitive the tool is to color variations. If the tool is selecting too much of the image, lower the Tolerance (try starting at around 15-20). If it’s not selecting enough, increase the Tolerance. This can help the tool focus only on the white circle and avoid the background.
