This is probably a microsoft question, but I'm not getting much help there. I just got a new computer running windows 8 and installed CS6 64 bit on it. I mostly have things going the way I want, but I am having trouble with some scripts. The scripts save to different drives. Basically I just have to change the drive letter things get saved to. The first one I changed works fine. The other two don't seem to get changed. I was having some problem with windows actually letting my modify my own file, but got that sorted out,it's a real pain.
My scripts list doesn't seem to actually show what is in the scripts folder. I've tried removing them and on a restart of PS they aren't gone. At this point there are duplicates in the list, but no duplicates in the file folder. When I try to run one I get an error saying it can't write to D drive. Well I knew that D on the new computer is a DVD drive. I have changed the script to F. If I open the script in my editor, sure enough it points to F. If I put the script somewhere else and browse to it from the scripts list it works as it should.
I'm sure there is some sort of easy explanation, just not seeing it.
