Is scripted "highlight next action step" possible?

Post by Skrippy »

Let's say I assigned F1 to "play / continue" after a "stop" action step...

The nice thing is that after a stop action step, the next action step gets highlighted, ready to play / continue (most easily with a key shortcut).

Now I would love to have the same, but after an action step that calls another action.
Sadly, when this sub action is done performing, the calling action is (still) highlighted and so I can not use F1 to continue with the next action step...

So I was wondering if for example the sub action could end with a last action step that calls a script that instructs to highlight the next action step when I come back to the "Play action ..." step?

It sounds a bit far-fetched and not totally logical, but "who knows"...?

Could it be possibe with a small pause before the "highlight next action step" instruction takes place, so PS will be back at the "Play action..." call?

I could automate it differently if somehow I could manipulate the highlight with some keyboard commands, but I can't find any...

Example purpose:

Different "Play action 'Stop if manual'" steps exist right after e.g. denoising, sharpening, ... so I can finetune those inbetween.
Because they all refer to one "- Stop if manual" action, I can with one click deactivate that stop action step inside, so I can also choose to run the whole thing fully batched/automatically.
So it would be a cool toggle for me to switch between batched and manual.
That toggle of course *is* working, but I wish I could use F1 as a "continue" button too...

Thanks for any suggestions
