letting an applescript not focus finder when running

I made a reaaaly simple script that switches between first state of the history and last state to see a sort of before-after and linked it to a button on my Wacom tablet.. it works fine but when I press the button it switches to finder for just a brief moment and then back to photoshop but I find it very annoying, is there a way to prohibit this behaviour in an applescript?

Not not a great user of AppleScript these days… Anyhow's we would need to see your syntax… I think.

There may be something in that else you could try this forums favoured extendScript…?
