Win7 corrupted profile & ExtendScript

One of our photographers had her profile corrupted on Win 7. Out IT guy came and restored her profile, and it seems that everything was working except that ExtendScripts from PS could not address any file or folder under the My Documents folder. I wrote a script for the photographers to format their images, and I have the script write a XML file to store the script's preferences to a subfolder of their My Documents folder. The photographer was saying that she could not access the preferences, so I went over there today and checked it out. I wrote a quick test script and it I could not get it to recognize any folder nor could I have it create a folder. She reinstalling CS6 design suite now to see if that helps. PS records her normal preferences without issue. I just don't know why Extendscript can't recognize her new profile. Any ideas?
