Learn Photoshop a new format?

Greetings dear community,

its again me and again i have some question. ^^

whats about a script to convert image data? i know formats that PS can show should not be a problem, but what is about a exotic image data format?

I have all informations about that format, os theoretically is it possible to convert to bmp or something else with a script?

It's possible but it would likely not perform well. Plugins are normally the tech of choice for image format conversion.

yeah, but as i said it is a special image (game) format. So i am sure there is no plugin which is supporting it.

You would need to write the plugin. But, if you really want to do it in JS, you'll need a lib for working with binary data files:

hm, i think is to hard for me with the skills i have now, but it is good to know that is possible. thank you. i will come back on this some days.
