Watermark in bottom right

Hello all,

Is there a way of placing a text layer (for example a copyright watermark) in the bottom right of an image – for BOTH landscape and portrait format?
At the moment, I manually separate horizontal & vertical images into two folders, and then run a specific action for each of those folders. Unfortunately, the manual selection of images is prone to human error – so I'm trying to find a more elegant solution.

Thank you all!

The easiest way is to go to http://www.russellbrown.com/scripts.html and download the watermark panel for CS5/6.

If you have a older version, look for 'Digital Watermark Branding' at http://www.russellbrown.com/tips_tech.html. You will have to scroll down a good bit - it's in the CS2 section. That will show you how to create a watermark action that works with both orientations.

If you have PSCS6.1 (available via CC only), you and use an Conditional Action for this. Very cool stuff.
See this:

Photoshop CC (previously know as PS14 or PSCS7) will have this capability as well.

With a little planning you can position a text or artlayer in the bottom right corner of a document using actions in most versions of Photoshop. You don't really need conditional actions to position regardless of orientation. That is what basically what the video on Dr. Brown's web site shows how to do.

They are cool, and if they had existed years ago, I might never gotten into scripting.
