Invoking "Load File Into Stack" directly from Finder?

Post by cardboardcowboy »

This one's for all you Apple addicts out there...

I'm trying my best to figure out a way to select a set of files (any number) and execute a "Load Files Into Stack" command (in CS5 or CS6) under the right click menu in Finder. I have photoshop basically open 24/7 so I wouldn't need the script to check for that, I just need it to work its magic. It's a small thing, but I create a ton of stacks at work thanks to dealing with lots of PNG sequences for animations, so the time savings would be pretty great over the course of a day.

I've found a way to add things to the right click menu via the application "On My Command" but I just don't know how to call up the JSX using what I would assume would be Applescript?

Being very new to scripting and automation in general, I just don't have any solid idea of how to make this a reality. Any ideas, thoughts, or points in a particular direction would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
