Get a reference to the current dialog box

Post by toyssamurai »

Is it possible to get a reference of the current dialog box (such as the Curve dialog box) through scripting? I dug up my old MIDI controller a couple days ago, and I am trying to wire it to control PhotoShop so that I can reduce using my mouse.

I don't know what you want to do, but to operate of boxes in dialog you can use XMBC

Like what's showing in this video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/hSxBTJH6kvKGeLsW8

I was able to make it control an adjustment layer. Was hoping there's a way to control the Curve dialog box, too. But I couldn't find a way to get a reference to the dialog box. In fact, it seems that the dialog box block communication to PhotoShop completely. So, I guess that it couldn't be done after all.

Probably that's possible too, but needs too much work.
