Cell x,y inside selection set?

Post by GIrvingNic »

Hi,
I used modified scripts from xbytor and others to identify a cell with a specific RGB value in a tiff file and then output the cell ('x,y,0' format) if it matches . However, as it turns out, it is VERY, VERY SLOW. On a 140mb file it could take a day or more to sift through and output the data which got me thinking that if I could identify if a specific cell was inside the selection set, which is fast to create, then it may be a quicker option. I'm using Photoshop CS2. Any ideas?
