Figured it out. If the script is in Presets/Scripts it will record as a blank step in the action.
If the script is outside of Presets/Scripts, it records correctly.

So, you need to use the js plugin if you want to be recorded in an action and located in Presets/Scripts.

AFAIK in-action recording/modifying/playback in my script works fine. Maybe the source will be of some help ( http://goldencrop.svn.sourceforge.net/v ... iew=markup ... iew=markup )
