I’m not sure if attached Script contains any Scripting atrocities or if it could be of any use to somebody, so I’d like to ask if anyone of you could test it and let me know if it works or needs more work.
Anyway it uses the pathPoints of a pathItem selected in the dialog to create angular shapes with some randomization and some other options.

The dialog looks a little strange on WinXP. Especially the 'ok' and 'cancel' buttons are too short.
And it doesn't seem to work correctly if the path is a work path. It seems to work fine is the path is a saved path though.

Well, I have to admit I’m a Mac-User and have been … well, practically since I started working with Computers and don’t have the slightest Windows-experience and can’t even test on such a system.
The matter of Work Paths is a good point; I’ll have to give that some thought.

Edit: The only way to avoid the Work Path problem I could think of is having the Script save any existing work paths, which seems to work out OK.
