I made a nifty sliding horizontal button mechanism. It uses layers to display the on and off states of the buttons. Each button has an UP and a DOWN state. I have to supply the programmers with GIF images that represent the on state for each button.
I found that I could use the Photoshop Comps feature to create a comp of the 16 different states. Then I used the File-Script->Save Comps as Files feature of Photoshop to turn these into 16 PSD files.
The problem is I need them as GIFs. So I created a batch that converts them to GIFs. The only issue is a) its an extra step and b) the naming convention of the Save Comps script is bizarre and I have to rename every file.
I am wondering how hard it would be to make a Photoshop script that saves the comp images as GIFs and gives each a name in which I specify the suffix and it adds the numeric index, like Search01.gif, Search02, gif, etc
I have put the ZIP containing my PSD image at
http://www.whatbird.com/images/Search.zip
I also attached it to this message.
I am willing to pay for this if its neccessary.
Thanks for any help you can bring to this dummy.
