externalInterface CS4

Has anyone gotten externalInterface to work in CS4 when putting a swf file in a UI panel? I had one working in CS3 and loaded CS4 and now it doesn't work. Also how do you upload a zip file to this forum? I don't see any option to do so.

I have only used Flash panels with CS4. But the ExtendScript Toolkit SDK has two example scripts that show how to use a Flash swf as a script UI.
