file formats

Hi,

anyone know if it is possible to add custom file formats not supported by ps and perhaps give me a pointer to where I should have a look?

A couple that springs to mind:
JPEG2000 and NVIDIA's DDS format.

A search on Google should give you some information.

You'll need to get the Photoshop SDK from Adobe. File format extensions are one of the things that can be developed with it. Check their web site. You have to make a request for the SDK, but it is free.

thanks for the replies, I have the sdk now and will dive into it
