Strange Photoshop Script Error

Post by Colorguy »

I had a user call me today with an error I've never seen before. When trying to run my Actions, which are really mostly calls to Scripts and not Actions, he's getting the following error:

"The Command Scripts Is Not Currently Available".

Its not a Javascript error, its more of a PS error box as he explains it with the option to continue or stop. The guy is using CS2 on a Mac. I'm thinking, since I never encountered this, its probably a cracked copy of PS that's not working correctly. Or, is it something else?

If anyone has an idea, let me know!

Thanks!

Have you ascertained that all the Scripts are installed and that they work on CS2?

Did you supply the action? What platform was the action recorded on? An action that calls a script hard codes the path in the action. In most cases it will not work on another OS unless you do something like use Xbytor's code to edit the path in the action.
