Find if PS is "Run as Administrator"

Post by undavide »

Hi,
is there a way to find out whether (on Windows) Photoshop has been "Run as Administrator"?
I thought something like creating a folder on a system path and catch the error, but being on a Mac it's just a guess.
Thank you!

Hi Davide,
I was using this snippet from your post and it was working fine on WIndows as well:

Hi,

whenever I try to open a link to a post shown in a message I will be linked to the homepage of PS-Scripts.com.
Searching for the post# I get the message containing the link, but not the message itself I am searching for.

Can anybody please tell me how to access the message the link is referring to?

One more question: How can I get the complete path i.e. including the server and user name of a PS document? I am using (Mac OSX).
In the AM the use of "~" for the root directory regularly creates an error.

Thanks for any help

Hans
