Scripting "Optimize for File Size" (Save for Web)

Hi,
is there a way to script the "Optimize for File Size" option in Save for Web?
Basically I should export images with decreasing filesize (I've not the Docs handy right now but I need to make up my mind).
That is to say: from a high res image I need to output several version with specified dimension *and* filesize.
