How to disable the SaveAs option?

Hi,

I need to hide/disable the "save As" and Save option in the "photoshop application CS5 menu" via scripting. Kindly advise me

Because SaveAs is one of the Menu items that can not be hidden using "Edit-Menus..." I don't think you will be able to hide it with a script. A feature has to be supported to be scripted and hiding that menu item is not supported.

No, menu items can not be removed. Certain menu items can be hidden but save and saveAs can not.
