Batch variables?

Hi guys,
Just learned variables and data driven processing in PS but one thing
seems missing to me: is it possible to BATCH variable processing?
I have +1000 images on which I need to place a title block and insert relevant data /numbers/ from a text file.
For a small amount of data rows it works great but larger data sets would need some batch action - i.e. how to make PS
batch move to another data row and produce the image accordingly?
