Export Layer Co-Ordinates to XML

I'm looking for a script that can export layer names as well as the folders and nested folders. I am trying to create an xml file that keeps the folder structure in a tree view as well as the layer co-ordinates relative to their folders bounds. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for any help.
