JavaScript Version

Not so much a feature request just a general question/speculation about JavaScript in future releases. But do you think Adobe will ever change the version of JavaScript that is used by the ESTK? Would there be any advantages/benefits if changes with the ESTK were made at this top level/layer (sorry don't know if it has a proper name)… or would this be a potential can of worms (they don't always get things right)? Arrays have been improved with added methods etc. Can we expect any change on this or is it just down to us to work out alternatives for ourselves…? I did take a quick look at some 'extendables' thing posted at the Adobe forums but Im not sure if anything further ever came from this… And it was probably beyond my basic level…
