Might be of use to people who work with PDF's.
Hopefully
It can select Single page, All pages or Range of pages to extract
It can do a Single file, Folder or Folder and sub-folders (of pdf's)
Each page is saved in the same location as the Original document and has the file name of the original + -Page# + whatever filetype selected.
There are nine output file types, 4 open modes etc..
It can resize using Fit Image and run an Action if required.

Paul.

This script is great and covers a lot of things I was looking for.
Anyway I would like to modify this to my very own needs - is it possible to get a non-binary-version of this script to do so?

Thanks in advance,

Sebastian

No problem.
Of course anyone with CS2 or CS3 can use it now.
I was hopeing that someone would find a way of de-coding jsxbin.

Heres the source code.
Thanks go to Mike Hale for the main function and to Xbytor for some of the other functions.

Paul.

Hi Paul,

I'm unequivocally in love with your script, however, even if i output at 600 dpi, I still get anti-aliasing (or aliasing, not sure how you say this - but crap around the text when you zoom into the image). Is there a way you can add a function that removes this?

Is there also a way you could change it so that the image extension is documentname_Page_### ?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Michelle

I am using the most recent version of this tool with CS6. I have a few questions.
What is the purpose of the row of parameters across the top of the dialog box? It appears to be related to the input format, but that doesn't make sense since you should be able to programatically read the information from the PDF.

I am working with scan from a 1960s book. Some are in b&w; some are in color. Hence I've chosen to convert them all to PNG. Are there any settable parameters for PNG files beyond the selectable index which appears to be a measure of quality?

Regardless of whether the "Save as web page" box is checked or not, Photoshop does its webby thing and creates a few lines of HTML for each image and stores all the image files in an Images subfolder. This is not really an issue since I can grab the files from the Images subfolder and globally rename them if necessary, but I thought you would like to know.

Thanks for a very useful program. It's already saved me a bunch of work.
