Re: Adding a suffix to a filename in an action
Is the saved document, so the original you use to make a duplicate from, located in the same folder as your webforweb output? If so the last step of your action can be used for script that is going to rename exported file to what you want. The base is the relation of original path to resultant.

Re: Animation from scratches
Loll, I asked the question and your answer doesn't help. I don't understand which of two scenarios you talk about.
I also don't know what you mean by original file. Is it PSD file with many layers which have to be used to create GIF?

Thank You for images (supporting the description) but I still can't grasp what you exactly need. Attach RAR containing manually made GIF, a result.

Re: About Clipping mask
Okay, I read now the thread from beginning to get to know what you mean by bottomClippingLayer. If I'm right it's just clipping layer, while all others over it should be called clipped, and if there are more of them than one then each clipped layer from the same group is at same time clipping layer ...

Re: About Clipping mask
I hope it is what you needed, but to be honest your answer confuses me a little, do you mean it shouldn't select the most bottom clipping layer? By middle or top I understand one of clipping layers in the same group, so any over that is on the bottom - the lowest. Enlight me please...

How ever that sounds crazy better ask them first if you are allowed to abide with forum rules you have been given
