Dimensions of point text sentece? weight, height, font size?

Hi guys.

I´m writing a script in VB and i need to know how can i determine the weight, height and text size of a "Point text" sentence in Photoshop CS2.
I need to know know the dimension so i can comperate to other "point Text" senteces...
