Per Layer Guides.

Photoshop CS5 or better!

This script will allow you to save a different set of guides per layer (Not background layer)

To store guides in a layer run the script with the SHIFT key pressed.

To display the layer guides just run the script.

The guide information is stored in the layer metadata.

If you are asking how to install:-
Download and unzip, put the script to the following folder:-

PC: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS#\Presets\Scripts
MAC: <hard drive>/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS#/Presets/Scripts

where # = the CS version

If Photoshop was open close and restart it so that it can pick up the new script.

To assign an action and function key, start recording a new action, assign the function key you require, then from the action palette fly-out menu select "Insert Menu Item" now File - Scripts and select your new script. Stop the recording.

Now every time you press the function key it will run the script.

Thanks Paul. I have install and assign the same.
I have a new canvas and make two more layers. after that when I am using this script, there is no result.
My question is how can I use it?

1) Select one of the layers and create some guides you would like to use for this layer.
2) To store the guides for this layer run the script with the SHIFT key pressed.
repeat steps 1 and 2 for each layer.

To use the layer guides just run the script on the selected layer, this will remove all guides and replace them with the guides that have been stored in that layer.
